Share a technology memory from when you were PreK-12 school age

I loved my Sony Walkman with the cassette tapes. I made mixed tapes and then took the walkman with me everywhere. I always had to have spare batteries with me. I was a swimmer and listened to my music while waiting for my events. I still have it put away somewhere! My brother and I had the original Mattel handheld games - football and baseball. And we had the Atari 2600 VCS game console. I have always loved technology!

eBooks or printed books
I prefer printed books. While I do read books sometimes on the Kindle app, there is nothing quite like the feel of paper books.

Funny Google Meet or Zoom mishap since the beginning of the pandemic
My puppy, Kylo, climbing on me while I was on a Google Meet call. He more or less took over the meeting!

Advice for new teachers or teachers wanting to gain confidence teaching with technology
Don't be afraid to ask for help and don't be embarrassed when you do. There are so many people that can help: technology/instructional coaches, fellow teachers, and of course the technology department! Teaching with technology can be quite challenging and it is always changing. We are all here for you and want to help!
