What's in their tech stack? Holli J.

Holli Johnson is a Resource Teacher at Noblesville East Middle School. Here is her tech stack!

✨ Magic School Raina

Holli is one of our district's AI Ambassadors and has been using Magic School's Raina to adapt materials from the new ELA curriculum to differentiate for her students. Though Holli is a big fan of artificial intelligence in the classroom, she is skeptical of using these platforms for writing IEP goals.

Holli Johnson🗣️ Quizlet

Her students love the interactive format of Quizlet. Holli uploads vocabulary and parts of speech exercises for skill practice. She then uses the Fast & Curious Eduprotocol to keep her students engaged.

🖨️ Thermal printer

Holli calls her thermal printer one of her best classroom purchases! She can send images and graphics from her laptop to the thermal printer for instant stickers! For an ELA novel study of And Then There Were None, she printed pictures of the characters from the most recent film. Students created tombstones with the character faces and added their cause of death as they read.

Take a look at the conference paperwork checklist she created for herself on the purple folder. 🤯

🖼️ Canva

Holli relies on Canva for making the images and graphic organizers she sends to her thermal printer.

🟦 Whiteboard & painters tape

Many Eduprotocols do not require technology. Her solution has been attaching blue painters tape to recreate Frayer Models and & p*ARTS of Speech Eduprotocols to her whiteboard.
